Subject: About io16-io23 and io26-io33 pulldown 150 ohm resistors.

Hi, Tom.

I developed extension board with optoisolation, relay, emergensy stop blocking mechanism and other.

But I did not take into account the presence of pulldown resistors. Can I remove these resistors, and will it not cause unknown problems to me? For what purpose these pulldown resitors were installed?.

Hi Alexander,

The pull down resistors provide termination for high speed data transfers. 

I wouldn't recommend making any modifications to KFLOP. But removing the pull down resistors shouldn't have any other effect on KFLOP.
